Basil Brush Show

The Basil Brush show was a popular kids program around this time. Basil was a Fox, not a real one of course, but a hand puppet. He had a very distinctive laugh and would finish a punch line with the words “Boom! Boom!”. I guess you had to be there really. The human host that you see in the video screen shots below was Billy Boyle.

There is a bit of banter between the three of them before singing a comical medley of songs
